Magnetic Rooftop Tent Ventilation Kit

from $159.00
Choose Your Setup:

A USB-C powered magnetic fan system that mounts through tent mesh to improve airflow in rooftop tents, Go Fast Campers, and wedge-style campers.

Sleep better when the air gets hot, still, or damp.
Most camping fans move air. This system lets you place airflow where it actually helps — elevated through the tent mesh, out of the sleeping area, and easy to reposition as conditions change.

Recommended: Dual Ventilation Kit
One intake fan. One exhaust fan. Fresh air in. Warm, humid air out.

Made to Order: Ships in 2–4 Weeks
Small-batch production. Orders are built and shipped in the order they are received.

Lakeland Blue Launch Edition
Limited Dual Ventilation Kit option with Lakeland Blue printed components. Standard printed components are black.

Power bank not included. Each fan is USB-C powered and independently speed controlled.

Quick Kit Guide

Dual Ventilation Kit — Best Overall
One intake fan. One exhaust fan. Fresh air in. Warm, humid air out. Best for hot nights, two-person setups, wedge campers, full-tent airflow, and helping manage condensation.

Single Intake Kit — Best for Cooling Airflow
Pulls fresh outside air into the tent and can be positioned for direct airflow near the sleeping area.

Single Exhaust Kit — Best for Condensation Management
Pulls warm, humid air out of the tent to help reduce stale air and manage condensation.

Still unsure? Choose Dual. It gives you both cooling airflow and moisture-control airflow in one setup.

Used in Rooftop Tent and Camper Setups

Earlier versions of this kit are already being used in rooftop tents, Go Fast Campers, Super Pacific campers, and other overland setups. The updated kit keeps the same magnetic mesh-mounted airflow concept with refinements focused on durability, setup, and airflow.

Love mine. Must have for any GFC.

Plugged it into my Jackery and it worked great. Didn’t draw much power either.
— Early Adopter
I love the concept and build quality! I have it installed on my Ursa Minor camper, and I think it’s going to work.

Love it. Got a set for my Super Pacific… working on a little different setup to circulate from bottom and out the top.

Love them… brilliant design!

Why This Works

A fan only helps if the air can actually get where it needs to go.

Inside a rooftop tent, that is harder than it sounds. Bedding, pillows, gear, pets, and the small tent volume all interfere with airflow.

Most camping fans solve the fan problem, but not the placement problem.

Floor fans get blocked.
Clip fans depend on whatever surface is available.
Hanging fans can swing, sit too low, or get in the way.

The Magnetic Rooftop Tent Ventilation Kit solves the placement problem first.

It mounts through the tent mesh, stays elevated, and can be moved as your setup changes. Aim it toward the sleeping area for cooling airflow, or position it near a vented mesh panel to help exhaust warm, humid air.

Useful airflow.
Cleaner placement.
No permanent modification.

Why This Works Better Than a Regular Camping Fan

Most camping fans are built to move air.

This kit is built to solve the rooftop tent airflow problem: where the fan sits, where the air goes, and whether it stays out of the way while you sleep.

Regular Camping Fan Magnetic Rooftop Tent Ventilation Kit
Sits on the floor, clips on, or hangs down Mounts elevated through the tent mesh
Gets blocked by bedding, pillows, pets, or gear Keeps airflow clear of the sleeping area
Limited by where it can clip, stand, or hang Repositionable as your setup or conditions change
Usually circulates air in one spot Can be configured for intake, exhaust, or dual ventilation
Can swing, fall, or get in the way overnight Low-profile magnetic mount stays secure and out of the way
General-purpose camping accessory Purpose-built for rooftop tent airflow and sleep comfort

Purpose-Built for Rooftop Tent Airflow

This kit is designed around the conditions that make rooftop tent sleep difficult: limited space, hot or damp air, changing weather, off-grid power, and fan noise close to your head.

The fan assembly mounts through standard tent mesh using an external plate outside the tent and magnets integrated into the fan assembly inside the tent. No drilling, straps, hooks, or loose mounting hardware required.

Every kit includes the fan guard, External Plate Retention Tether, adjustable speed control, and Vent Gap Feature as standard. Each fan is USB-C powered. Power bank and USB-C cable not included.

Which Kit Should I Choose?

Power & Runtime

Each fan is USB-C powered and works with standard power banks, USB battery packs, and portable power stations.

A typical 10,000 mAh power bank can run one fan for approximately 12 hours, depending on fan speed, battery quality, temperature, and conditions.

For the Dual Ventilation Kit, each fan is independently powered and speed-controlled. You can run each fan from its own USB-C power source, or use a portable power station with multiple outputs.

Power bank and USB-C cable not included.

Estimated Runtime

Power Setup Estimated Runtime
10,000 mAh power bank + single fan ~12 hours
10,000 mAh power bank + dual fans ~6 hours
20,000 mAh power bank + single fan ~24 hours
20,000 mAh power bank + dual fans ~12 hours

Runtime estimates vary with fan speed, power source quality, temperature, and power bank output.

Performance

Designed to move useful air through confined tent spaces without creating unnecessary noise.

Rated maximum airflow: 107.4 CFM
Maximum noise level: 31.5 dB(A)

In wedge-style rooftop tents, a single fan can refresh roughly a full tent volume of air every 30–60 seconds, depending on vent configuration and setup.

The Dual Ventilation Kit creates directional airflow through the tent. One fan brings fresh air in while the other helps move warm, humid air out.

This helps improve overnight comfort, reduce stagnant heat, and manage condensation.

Size & Fit

Each fan assembly is large enough to move useful air while staying compact enough for rooftop tent use.

The mount is designed to sit low-profile against the tent mesh and keep the fan elevated, out of the sleeping area, and away from bedding or gear.

Approximate assembled size: 8 in × 7.5 in × 2 in
Weight per fan assembly: ~1.5 lb

Best mounted on standard rooftop tent mesh panels with access to both sides of the mesh.

For the Dual Ventilation Kit, plan for two separate fan assemblies: one intake and one exhaust.

Mounting & Compatibility

The Magnetic Rooftop Tent Ventilation Kit mounts through standard tent mesh using an external plate on the outside of the mesh and magnets integrated into the fan assembly on the inside of the tent.

It is designed for rooftop tents, Go Fast Campers, wedge-style campers, and similar setups with mesh panels and access to both sides of the mesh.

Works best with:

  • standard rooftop tent mesh panels

  • Go Fast Campers and wedge-style camper mesh openings

  • mesh windows or doors with access to both sides

  • setups where the external plate can sit flat against the outside of the mesh

Not intended for:

  • solid fabric walls

  • insulated panels

  • heavy canvas

  • areas where you cannot access both sides of the material

  • surfaces where the magnetic mount cannot fully seat through the mesh

It may also work with some ground tents and other mesh-panel setups, as long as the mount can seat securely through the mesh.
